Overview
Each frame picks a side, left or right. Hit the target side and score. Hit the wrong side and those pins count against you. A game that rewards shot-shaping over power.

How It Works
The centre pins are removed, leaving only the wings. Each frame randomly assigns a target side, left or right. Knock down pins on the target side and score normally. Pins on the wrong side subtract from your total. Clear only the correct side and your score doubles for that frame.
The software uses individual pin control to set a custom arrangement each frame, removing the centre pins and leaving only the wings standing.
What Makes It Different
You cannot throw straight down the middle. Every frame forces you to move the ball to one side of the lane and keep it there. The target switches every frame, so you are constantly adjusting your line. Getting the wrong side is not just a missed opportunity, it actively hurts your score. That penalty is what makes Wings feel fair but unforgiving. Strong frames have to be earned.
Who It’s For
Bowlers who enjoy control and shot-shaping more than raw power. Wings rewards the ability to read the target quickly, pick a line, and commit to it. It is one of the more technical games in the library, and experienced bowlers tend to gravitate toward it once they have tried a few of the party modes.
Parent’s Guide
Hit the wrong side. If the target is left, throw right. It looks like you misjudged the side assignment. One or two “wrong side” frames will tank your score while looking like honest confusion. The side-switching mechanic is genuinely disorienting, so nobody will question a parent who keeps getting mixed up about which wing is active.
