Lanes, Software, and Everything Around Them

Every LaneCraft installation is built from these parts. Designed here, built to order, and supported for the life of the lane.

Our Format

KERN

Four Kern lanes at Toboggan Hill Park with UV-lit pins and no gutters

KERN™ is LaneCraft's compact bowling format: full-size Tenpin pins, light same-weight Kern Balls, no gutters, and no shoes, on a 12 metre lane that fits where a regulation lane never could.

It is the format most homes choose and the one that makes a four-lane boutique venue possible in an ordinary building. Engineered, not shrunk, and proven commercially at Toboggan Hill Park.

Our Approach

The Best We Can Find, or the Best We Can Make

Most bowling equipment is designed for commercial centres with 20 or more lanes, and much of it is excellent. Where the best option already exists, such as the string pinsetters, we use it. Where it does not, because nothing was made for a private home or a boutique venue, we design it ourselves: the KERN format, the scoring console, and the software that runs every lane. The result is an installation where every piece was either chosen or built for the job.
